86 Farm is owned by twin brothers, Jerry and Terry Holdeman.

"Growing up, our father had a cow herd. Due to him not being able to find pasture for them he sold his herd. In our later teens we wanted to get back into having cows so we each started out with buying a few cows and have slowly grown our herd to a little over 100 head today.

We started 86 Farm to bring you a quality beef product from our farm to your table.  Our beef is raised on grass using rotational grazing to not overgraze our pastures, giving the grass plenty of time to recover and grow back in between grazing periods. Our goal is to graze our cattle as much as we can, we graze our grass in the summer and in the winter we graze crop stubble fields or cover crops. We use low stress handling practices to keep the cattle from being stressed, resulting in a better end product.

Our cattle are finished on corn for the last 60-120 days before butchering."
